2022: Prosperity and Destruction

So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.

In August, during our Sunday service, just after worship, the Lord gave me an encounter that revealed the events of 2022 and beyond. In the vision I was given a book on which was written: YEAR 2022: PROSPERITY AND DESTRUCTION. I was told to read it, but instead of reading, I saw the events taking place before my eyes, and at other times I was taken into the future to see what would take place.

Last week I had a desire to revisit the book the Lord gave me, as it is still in my spirit, so I prayed and inquired of Him. The reply was not what I expected. The Spirit said to me, "You know that prosperity doesn't just mean riches and wealth?" I was stunned, and I asked what, then, it means. The Lord was silent, but the inner witness of the Spirit told me to look in the Scriptures. I put it off for a week, because I wanted a deep answer from the Lord, and little did I know that I was about to stumble on a great secret, one I believe will strengthen our spirits and help prepare us for the coming years.

Almost every time the word "prosperity" appears in the Bible, it does not refer to riches or wealth. There are two prominent Hebrew words throughout Scripture.

1. Yeshuah. Yes, you read that correctly; it is amazing. The word means something that saves, or is saved; it means, quite simply, salvation and deliverance. The word "prosperity" is a revelation of Jesus Christ and of His ministry of salvation and deliverance. The Lord is telling us that His people will experience the saving and delivering power of Jesus. The same power that delivered Israel from the clutches of Pharaoh will be at work. Prosperity refers to the power of God to save and to deliver. It also implies a liberty coming upon the people of God, because of the dense presence of the Spirit.
2. Tov. Before I tell you what this second word implies, let me tell you that it is the most frequently used word for prosperity in the Bible. It appears more than five hundred times, and its first use is in Genesis 1:4: "and God saw the light, that it was good." More than anything else, it is used to describe something very good. Prosperity, then, also means the manifestation of God's goodness. God is going to show His goodness to those who have been faithful to Him. In 2022, goodness is following His people.

I discovered more in my research, but I believe the Lord wanted to answer me through the Scriptures so that I could see it clearly. Tov reveals how this prosperity will be created for God's people in 2022, and how they can participate in the fulfilment of the prophetic word in their lives.

The answer is in Genesis 1:4. God saw the light only after He had created it and called it. This means that God prospered His endeavours, He saw that it was good, by speaking and calling. In 2022, God's people must speak and call if they are to see prosperity: goodness, salvation and deliverance. Those who do not speak according to the spoken and written Word will unfortunately not experience the will of God in 2022, and may suffer the consequences of not speaking and calling.

So, beloved, prosperity will not only be the release of riches and wealth. It will be the manifestation of God's goodness, salvation and deliverance, through the process of speaking and calling by the Spirit and the Word. Now you can see why I told you to begin speaking the prophecies out loud. It is training; it is preparation. Take it seriously, as though your life depended on it, because it does. Go ahead and begin speaking. Begin calling.
