Heavenly Records
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

The Lord Jesus keeps records of the state of every church, ministry and minister in the body of Christ. Because every church differs in stature and function, and especially in its conduct and motives before the Lord, each has a different revelation and manifestation of the Lord. The book of Revelation shows that no single church has the full revelation of the Lord Jesus; that is a revelation we will all share when we are united as the body of Christ.
As long as the Church of Jesus Christ is isolated and in disunity, she will have an isolated revelation of the Lord. When we look at the seven churches in isolation from one another, we cannot take in the full revelation of Jesus.
In the scrolls of the churches everything is recorded: the nature of the churches, their functions, their acts and their motives before the Lord; the timing of the Lord's judgements on them, and His advice and counsel; the destiny and the promises of the Lord; the revelation of the Lord each church is assigned to reveal; and whether or not a church is walking in the path set for it. It is all written. What matters for any church is to know what is written of it in the book of the Lord.
It is an absolute necessity to know what the Lord Jesus personally thinks of the churches. Why else would the Lord have sent personal messages to the churches, if it were not important? How else could churches correct their errors and learn the grievances the Lord has against them? Can you see it?
A church finds out what is written of it in the scrolls of the churches in the way the Lord Himself gave: "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." The scrolls of the churches are on the lips of the Holy Spirit. It is therefore the responsibility of every minister appointed by the Lord Jesus to consult the Holy Spirit at every phase of the life of the church.
"Thus says the Lord: tell the churches to seek the Lord personally for the books, for the messages written concerning them. For the time of reckoning is at hand, and the time to give account is at the door. They must all know the things written and thought concerning them. And yes, if they pray, they shall hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

- First love for the Lord, and discernment
- The fear of persecution, and compromise
- The love of money, false anointings and doctrines, and a lack of respect for the ministry gifts
- Sexual immorality and idol worship
- Spiritual deadness and slumber
- Keeping the Word, and perseverance
- Lukewarmness, false riches and nakedness
