Reflection on the Prophetic Words: 2018, the Year of the Holy Spirit; 2019, the Year of the Power of the Lord

Prelude

2018 has been a remarkable year, the year of the Holy Ghost and of increase. I do not think we have yet moved into the fullness of all the Lord has in store for us, and by His mercy I believe He may carry it through into 2019. Nonetheless, the Lord has been faithful throughout the year. He is unfailing in His grace toward us.

A Word from Dr Enoch

I heard a voice reading Isaiah 6:1, and immediately the spirit of prophecy was stirred. I did not conjure it, nor did I ask for it to happen. I had a strong urge from the Spirit to go and write, and so I did. I had not been thinking about these things, nor doing any extraordinary kind of praying, nor asking to hear and see what I was shown. I believe the Lord determines these things in this way so that we may remember that all glory belongs to Him.

While the Lord had told me some things concerning 2019, the theme for the year from the Spirit, I knew nothing beforehand of about ninety percent of what I wrote. Please read this prayerfully, as some of these things were told and shown to me by the angel of the Lord. I did not manage to write everything, and will do so after prayer and reflection. Most of it is written in the first person, as though I were the one saying all these things. Please note that it is not I but the angel who was giving me this message, although you will discern the portions where I am conveying something I was seeing or hearing. Prophets speak and write as they see and hear. May we hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

Above all, may Jesus Christ our King be glorified, and His will be done in the earth and in our lives. Amen.

The Visions and the Angels

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.

Isaiah 6:1 (NKJV)

King Uzziah was a very prominent man in Israel, if not the most prominent; he was, after all, the king. In the year that he died something extraordinary happened: Isaiah recorded his first vision of the Lord. His eyes were opened to see the glory of God. It seems that the passing of Uzziah was the dawn of a new season, the passing of the old and the ushering in of the new, and the glory of God was seen. In 2019 we will see the glory of God in a tremendous way. Our eyes will be opened to see further in the Spirit than we have before. We will be energised by God's Spirit to seek the deeper things of God. The door in the throne is open, calling us to come up higher and to see further. He is sending and commissioning, and His voice is resounding strongly in our spirits.

There will, however, be a removal. This wave of glory will only begin in the second half of the year, because it will be preceded by a deluge of deaths among prominent men. The Uzziahs of this generation will pass away: in the church, in politics, in sport, in business, in Hollywood. It will seem like a storm of death, but it will not last long. These are the signs of the new season, the days of glory. The Lord will call some of His dear servants home; He is making way, as it were, for a new breed of ministers. But He will allow a transfer of spiritual wealth from the old to the new, and it will happen in wonderful ways: in meetings, in prayer, and even in dreams of the night when men sleep. There will be many impartations. It is time, the set time, says the Spirit. We have not seen nor experienced what will transpire from now on.

There will be a roaring against corruption. In the church especially, a few prominent ministers will find themselves in handcuffs, and the world will laugh at the church and mock her. But the Lord will birth a new thing, the firstfruits of revival in Southern Africa. We must pray. We must wait on the Lord and set our gaze on Him. Persecution of the church will continue, but great glory is to follow.

South Africa in particular will enter a very delicate moment. The worst has been averted; the church has prayed, but she must continue to pray and intercede for the destiny of this nation. This country is entering a new phase in its destiny. She is in labour and about to give birth, and the Lord will guarantee a safe delivery if the church will pray. Great will be the joy in this nation. Old dogs in politics are trying and scheming, but all will go as planned. I hear "a new president." The one who was overthrown will wreak havoc before the elections; secrets will come out, and momentary mayhem will follow. It seems this new president is not ready, for fear has gripped him, but the Lord will strengthen his feeble knees and failing heart. He will make his hands strong and his voice mighty. This one will have the support of international heads of state. Pray, South Africa, that it happens in the coming year. It is a favourable moment for the country, a time of favour and opportunity for this nation. The cycle of power has come full circle, but anything can happen without the force of prayer. May the decision be settled in the heavens and in the counsels of God.

It is the Year of the Power of the Lord: demonstrations of both His ability and His authority in the earth, and His Church are the demonstrators. This power is being increased for the Church; the Lord calls it the Power of the Throne. The revelation of the name of Jesus, and of the Church seated with Him, must be taught as never before. Ministers must awaken to this renewed power in the Church. The ability and authority of God will be in great demonstration, and surely the world's attention will be on the Church. It will break into the news headlines, just as in the healing revival of the 1940s and the days of John G. Lake. Those who major on the name of Jesus will find themselves on great platforms for the Kingdom. I see that, for a moment, we will seem to dominate in the earth. The force of the Church will be impossible to ignore. The angels of power have been dispatched in their multitudes.

Power, power: the all power of the One who sits in the heavens and rules through His people in the earth will be on great display. We must get ready. Purity and love must characterise believers if they are to walk in this. These, among other qualities, will be the measures that determine how much of what the Lord has spoken the Church will walk in. You have been sensing it; now you will live it and walk in it. But ministers, build the Word inside the people, for the Word is their capacity.

I see something. Visions of the Lord will mark this new phase. The Holy Spirit has been poured out, and His people are receiving. It is the rainy season in the Spirit, the set time. You have been praying, and now He is acting. You will walk in the realm of answered prayer. Do you understand? You will live in answered prayer. There is a recollection, a remembrance. The books of favour and abundant grace are opened, and yes, your names are listed. You will be beneficiaries of God's favour. I see angels of favour all over the earth: in the churches, in the streets, in the houses. But remember that He gives grace only to the humble; the proud He resists. Uzziah was proud, and God abased him. Humble yourself in 2019. Walk in self-abasement and lowliness, for power is going to the meek; it is flowing to the meek in spirit. Remember the meekness of wisdom. Stay in the lane of humility, no matter what, and in due time He will exalt you. This time it will not take long, because it is the time of favour in the Spirit; but it is also the time of humility. Remember Philippians 2. Have that mind, walk with that mind, and teach it to others also. Do you hear what the Spirit is saying? Remember it and stay with it.
