The Relationship Between Words and Wealth

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Words

Words are the most basic form of all creation. When we strip everything down to its bare genetics, we find words. Scientists have said that the genetic make-up of all DNA is ninety-two percent light, frequency and sound, meaning that exposure to light, frequencies and sounds can alter DNA. They also say that sound is the language of cells, which simply means that the human body, at the cellular level, is affected by sounds, or words.

I recently read the research of a Japanese scientist who studied water crystals and observed how water expresses itself in different environments. He said that in contrast to tap water, natural water displays beautiful arrays of crystals, even more so when it is exposed to beautiful music, and that fascinating differences appear in the crystals when words like "gratitude" or "stupid" are spoken to the water. Dirty or polluted water exhibits deformed crystals.

Through words the Creator, God, created everything, in both the unseen and the seen dimensions, the spiritual and the physical creations. Everything God has ever done, He did through His Word: He created, made, corrected, mended and restored through the use of the Word. Words are the foundations of creation. This is so important to understand, because it is the ancient way of the Lord. He is Himself the Word.

Think about it: everything we see in this physical world and in the other world, through visions, dreams, thoughts and imaginations, is a product of words. In the Bible, the phrase used of a man who had visions or dreams from the Lord was "the word of the Lord came to…" It came from somewhere, and it brought a message, and from those accounts we know that nations, lives and destinies were changed every time the word of the Lord came.

The destinies of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were changed by words in visions. Moses became the deliverer of a nation through words. Solomon's life was altered by words in a dream. Nations were destroyed or prospered by the words of the prophets. Kingdoms and kings were made by words, and business conglomerates have been built by words. Words are at the foundation of all things.

For the child of God, this means first that he must come to a place in life where he realises and understands the role of words in the building of his life. Paul said that the word of God is able to build you up and give you an inheritance. There is a process to which the child of God must submit if he is to realise the full potential of his destiny and possess his inheritance in God, all the promises of God. This process begins with esteeming the Word of God highly, above all things, and that includes the whole of Scripture and all the prophetic words given through His servants. The believer must come to prize and prioritise God above his own life. This must be settled in his heart, or failure will be imminent.

Second, he must be devoted to obeying and fulfilling all that the word, the voice, requires. This applies generally to the Scriptures, but more specifically to the voice of God in prophetic utterance. It is important to note that if the first part is not firmly established, it is impossible to move into the second, because the second requires that one be fully absorbed in the voice of God, focusing on nothing but seeing the word through. This is the phase in which meditation on the word, and confession of it, are paramount, because only they can bring you to the place of obedience. You cannot obey a command you do not understand; this is why you meditate on the word, confess it and study it closely: to observe, that you may do it. This is what has secured the destinies of God's people.

The voice of God has always been the prosperity of His people, and those who follow that voice fully are great in the annals of history. The voice of God is the standard for every success and failure in the Kingdom. When you understand the importance of the Word, you will drop everything in your life to take hold of it. The quality of your existence depends on it, whether you realise it or not.

Wealth

And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.

Wealth, riches and prosperity come from God. This is another understanding you need to cement in your heart. If they come from Him, then it must be His desire to make every one of His children as rich as Solomon was, or He would not have given it to him. No one in the Scriptures who had a real encounter with God remained poor; every one of them became very prosperous and wealthy. This is the heritage of God. Everyone who walked with God entered into the dimensions of prosperity. They did not labour or toil for it; it came with their obedience to the voice of God.

No one alive can convince me that God does not want His children to be wealthy. This generation has yet to encounter the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Jesus Christ, because when it does, it will walk on the highways of the earth. It will subdue and confound the systems of this world. God is looking for those who believe these truths. After all, Jacob and Solomon were made rich through a dream, and Isaac was given supernatural insight into wealth.

This is because wealth is an inheritance. None of God's people need to labour like sinners to become wealthy, or to build businesses as big as Amazon. This is what we need to understand. We belong to the Kingdom of God, and in this Kingdom we operate by different systems. Do not misunderstand me: there is nothing wrong with building a career or a business, and I advocate both. But when it comes to God, I believe that following His voice matters more to my wealth than building a business or a career. This is the ancient way of wisdom. Wealth is the inheritance of the wise, of those who through communion with God are led into the hidden riches of darkness, the subduing of economic systems and the grace of abundance.

I am well aware that there are many ways to become wealthy in life, and some feel they can make it without God; that is their choice. But you, child of God, must never make that mistake. Set your heart, soul and strength on following the Lord and His way, and His way is His voice, and you will enter a realm of life you never thought existed. You are a child of the Kingdom, so seek first the Kingdom. Some who read this will disagree, because they are students of the evil system of this world; if they were students of the Word and the Spirit, they would know that anything is possible with God. He said to Israel, "You will live in houses you did not build, and eat from vines you did not plant," and we can add: you will drive cars you did not buy, and own businesses you did not build, when you follow My voice. Be faithful to this path, and you will inherit untold wisdom and wealth from the Lord.
