The Regulator of Life

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

The greatest revelation of God is of Him as the Word. To understand Him as the Word would help many people understand the workings of life. Most of us, however, do not understand life, because we do not understand its Creator. Life functions by words, because the entire universe was created by the Word.

If the Word was God, then the Word is still God, and this understanding is vital, beloved. People have no problem believing that God created the world, but they find it very difficult to understand that He created everything by His Word: "He spoke, and it was done." They would rather believe the junk that science feeds them about the origins of the universe, and the lack of understanding of this truth is the main problem. Life is regulated by words, because the Word is the Author of life. These are mysteries Satan has worked for millennia to keep from you. In Him was life. All the energies of life and of creation are in the Word; it is the energy of life.

Study the history of God's workings in the affairs of men, and you will find that the voice of God governed every operation of God; it was preeminent in every manifestation of God. Even Jesus, when He walked the earth, used words to deal with the problems of humanity, of spirit, soul and body. He commanded bodies, spirits, and earthly and spiritual elements by His words, showing us the foundational law that governs life: the speaking of words.

The experiences and realities of your life are created by the words of your mouth; this is exactly what the Scripture says: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." All the forces of life respond to words more than to anything else. The whole kosmos is run by words. The success of this worldly system depends on an understanding of words and languages; the Tower of Babel could be built because the whole world had one speech and one language. Because life and creation are offspring of the Word, nothing is impossible to the one who understands and fully embraces this truth. You must speak in order to change the experiences of your life, or nothing will change. That is simply how it works: you will never experience what never comes out of your mouth. A man's life is regulated by words, and it is for this reason that the Word is the sword of the Spirit, and prophecies are weapons of warfare. God proved His love for us by giving us the same tool He used to create the universe: a mouth. Use your mouth rightly, and you will revolutionise your life.
